Playing in the sand is terrific for developing motor skills, building hand-eye coordination, and strengthening muscles. Scooping, pouring, and moulding will help in the development of their fine motor skills, while digging and raking assists their gross motor development.
Through sand play, they will also learn about measurements, problem solving and logical thinking.
