Nins Carla allows for the development of logical-mathematical thinking by classifying, grouping, and matching elements though colours and/or shapes. These actions improve hand-eye coordination and motor skills. The rings become a material which can be used to thread, pile up and create different games. The Nins can be used as a symbolic game, to create stories and small worlds. In addition to the first pedagogical proposal, this material can be seen from a versatile perspective, which allows for it to be used in a broad number of ways. The adaptability of these materials contributes to creative and divergent ways of thinking.
It contains 12 Nins, 72 rings and 36 coins in the colours of the rainbow.
Grapat is made from wood that is sourced from sustainable forests. Products are made using water based non-toxic dyes and finishes that are made with vegetable waxes and oils. Each piece of Grapat is unique, they are painted by hand and the characteristic 'imperfections' of the wood makes the material even more valuable. Please keep your Grapat products in a dry place and if cleaning is required wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. The pieces should not be submerged, or disinfectant used.
